Privacy Policy

Abby ("Abby," "we," "us") is a production coordination service at abbyproducer.com and app.abbyproducer.com. It lets film and video producers create call sheets and send them to their cast and crew by email and text message (SMS), and collects attendance confirmations. This policy explains what information we handle and how.
Information we collect
- Producer accounts: email address and password (passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider).
- Production contacts: producers enter the name, role, email address, and phone number of the cast and crew on their production so Abby can deliver call sheets to them.
- Delivery and confirmation records: which messages were sent, when, and whether a recipient confirmed or declined a call sheet.
How we use information
We use this information only to operate the service: delivering call sheets and reminders by email and SMS, showing producers the confirmation status of their own production, and keeping the service secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Text messaging (SMS)
Cast and crew receive SMS messages because their producer added them to a production after obtaining their consent to receive production communications. Message frequency varies with production activity, typically a few messages per shoot day (the call sheet, reminders until confirmation, and any updates). Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages.
- Reply HELP for help, or contact us at the address below.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All mobile opt-in data and consent records are kept confidential and are not sold or shared.
Service providers
We share data only with the infrastructure providers required to run Abby, hosting, database and authentication, email delivery, and SMS delivery, and only to the extent needed to deliver the service.
Data retention and deletion
Production data is kept while the producer's account is active. To request deletion of your account or of your contact information, email us or ask your production's producer to remove you.
